The Hotel Stella del Nord is situated in the green pasture land, in the old village of Dolonne. These fields become ski pistes in the winter,that can bring you home from the main Courmayeur ski area at the end of a days skiing. A new gondola lift system, situated in the village, will take you up to the heart of the skiable terrain at the start of your day. In summer these fields are the start point for many mountain walk, relaxing stroll or even a lazy pic-nic place.

The charming village of Dolonne has maintained all the style and character of Italian Alpine life. Its cool narrow streets, lined with wood and stone build houses are a treat to be seen, albeit snow covered in winter or adorned with red geraniums in summer. For children, there is a “Fun Park”, and the Sports Centre offers: ice skating, curling, tennis, fitness cente,squash, table tennis and a Pub.
